Earlier this year we (Revive) prayed as a team and asked God how we could more intimately connect and minister to students.
After some consideration we believed that our meaningful but many times brief encounter with students when we travel could be more than a moment but a movement.
How could this happen? By making our time with students more than one message but a conversation.
When the team packs the final guitar case on the truck and we pull off and out to a new church it shouldn’t be the end to our mission to minister to students. We wanted to know how we, despite any miles or minutes could continue to encourage students with the Gospel. We believe God opened this avenue (blogging) for us to carry out that passion.
Whether you are student, youth leader, adult, parent, or just curious we pray that through these pixelated letters you can find some encouragement and insight in growing a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ.
As young people who are on the latter end of our teen years we look back at the problems and issues that we faced and we have a burning desire to reach into the lives of the youth of today. We want to give as much guidance as we possibly can to help students come out on the other end stronger and more stable in themselves and more consistent in their relationships with Christ.
Our heart is not necessarily to change the world, but more importantly make imprints on people’s lives so that Christ will have room to move in them. The mission of this team as well as this page is to simply guide people into the throne room of God.
Our desire is to take a backseat as we simply create environments for God to show His people what true love is and to shower His people with His blessings. We believe that our generation as well as the generation before us really has not only a desire but a need to be awakened to an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Our mission is to deliver the good news to the masses and by the grace of God He will encourage you through our experiences as we as a team encounter the mighty works of His hands!
